What do you get?
Equipment
Along with my harp, I will come equipped with a small amplifier to help project the sound of the harp.
Location
I live one hour north of Portland, OR, near Longview, WA. I am willing to travel long-ish distances, however, extra payment will be requested to cover gas prices.
Length of Time
I play for a minimum of an hour. If the total time I am asked to play is an hour, I will play straight through, but anything longer than an hour I play at 45 minute intervals. At the end of 45 minutes I take a 5 minute break to get some water, tune the harp and just give my fingers a rest.
Cost
Final prices will be determined according to location, event, circumstances, etc.
However, for evaluation's sake, my base price is $80 per hour of playing.
*Note: The charge per hour also includes set-up and
take-down time, as well as the many hours I spend practicing.
Dress
I have many loves in my life. A gigantic one is music, and in that category harp music is high on the list.
Other loves of mine include Jesus Christ, family, horses, writing, books and COSTUMES!
I am more than happy to come in costume if desired. At your event, you may choose to have a medieval harpist, Celtic (inspired) harpist, LOTR elf harpist or even hobbit girl harpist!
And of course I suppo- I mean I am happy to come in regular clothes as well. (Which will be a modern dress.)
